ABOUT ABOUT
You will not see this super group of the 80's in a more intimate venue! 80's band Ambrosia's founding members include bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North, and drummer Burleigh Drummond with Doug Jackson on guitar who has been with the band for over 15 years and Rick Cowling on guitar and vocals. The band's first 80's hit was Biggest Part of Me in 1980. Throughout most of the 70's Ambrosia was a progressive rock band. In 1976, Ambrosia remade the Beatle's song "Magical Mystery Tour" for a movie called "All This And World War II". There's also a soundtrack album featuring other artists doing covers of Beatles songs. Ambrosia's biggest pop breakthrough came in 1978 with the number three hit "How Much I Feel." The band followed this success in 1980 with another number three hit, "Biggest Part of Me," and the number 13 follow-up "You're the Only Woman." Open act will be Frank Viele and the Manhattan Project. Presented by Old Burnside Brewing.
